NSWP Privacy Notice

The Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provide certain rights for individuals in relation to their personal data and what organisations may do with their data. Under data protection law you have the following rights:

  • The right to be informed
  • The right of access
  • The right to rectification
  • The right to erasure
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object
  • Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling

All of these rights require organisations to respond to a request within one month. There is no fee, although if a request is considered manifestly unfounded or excessive a reasonable fee can be charged for the administrative costs associated with the request.
